Quinoa is an awesome grain to add to your diet. It’s a complete protein and contains all of the essential amino acids. This quinoa breakfast bowl is nutrient dense and very filling, so no rumbling belly until lunchtime. Most recipes with quinoa are savory, but I like it mixed in with the sweet. Beautiful berries are abundant this time of year, so add them to your meals while they are in-season and perfectly ripe. It’s also great to support your local farmers. The almonds add great crunch, to contrast the softer texture of the berries and grain.
